April 10th, 2009= Bye Bye Snake

There are a lot of snakes in Alabama... The most aggressive, poisonous is the Cottonmouth, aka water mocassin. There are also rattlesnakes, rat snakes, king snakes, and many more. We had a snake in our yard a few times and I was very scared that it was the cottonmouth and didn't want the kids to get bit. Well, this isn't necessarily the snake that I saw in our yard, but just down our dirt road we saw this snake that looks very similar to a cottonmouth, but it was just a rat snake. To me, I don't care that it isn't one of the dangerous snakes, I just wanted it gone..and it is!
