I am so horrible at being a good blogger. Alot has happened in the past few months and our lives have changed quite dramatically. First, Alex and Breyna got baptized...official thank you for those in attendance. Second, Wendell felt the Holy Spirit and was moved to start attending church with us. Through his own personal experience he has search, pondered and prayed and decided to get baptized as well. He will be baptized on July 10th at 4p.m. in the same white church as Alex and Breyna.
I have had the wonderful opportunity to stay at home with Alex and Breyna for the last 2 years but the time has come that I need to return to the workforce, so if you know of anything, please let me know. Since being back in UT I have applied for many, many jobs and had a few interviews, but nothing has happened or even felt right. I did have an interview last Monday for a job that I would love, but now I am waiting to hear back. I hate what our economy has done, and I hate the way that it has changed families. I feel very luck that Wendell has a good f/t job, but I can't help worrying about our situation, both present and future. It seems that every job I apply for, there are many applicants who are also out of work and there seem to be at least 20 interviewees for each job. So, given that, we are all fighting for 1 job.
Also, my heart goes out to the Gulf Coast. We lived 1 hr from the beach while we were in AL and I'm very afraid for what is going to happen there. One reason we moved back was the economy, AL was already in the top 10 of highest unemployment rates, and now this. My heart and prayers go out to the many families that are going through this and too the many who will be affected by it for years to come.
