Scary Weather

On the weather front, Hurricane Ida is expected to come right on top of us sometime tomorrow. I live just about the Florida panhandle on the AL border and they are saying it will come at us at Hurricane 1 strength when it hits the coast and may die to tropical storm hitting us. That means about 50mph wind and lots of rain and tornadic activity spinning of the storm... I'm scared. I have only been in AL for 2 years and I have only seen reminants of hurricanes, like the rain after. We have been flooded because of those, but I'm really worried about this! I will be doing a lot of praying and I don't plan on sending my kids to school tomorrow because I don't want them stuck there if something bad happens. In 2007, a tornado hit here and killed kids that were trapped under a wall at school. It was in the town we just moved from 30 miles away, so fears are very close to home and everyone takes these storms very seriously!

ick. I'll add my prayers to yours! I wouldn't send my kids either . . . maybe they'll be smart and just cancel school all together. Just in case. Good Luck! Love ya!
